Do you have pride for what you do?

My alum UAB (the University of Alabama at Birmingham) has a brand new stadium and are playing in it today for the first time! How awesome is that?

I wear my shirt to show pride for my alum and I’m proudly rooting for the UAB Blazers!!

On this night...20 years ago

246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.

2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001.

Mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters were taken this day.

You are not forgotten.

Do you ever think about things while you’re eating? I know I do.

I think of my future. My wife. My to do’s (when I’m stressed - 😂). My goals especially.

However, I also write down my thoughts and goals and dreams because if you keep them hidden away you won’t take action.

I’ve been thinking 🤔 the above words A LOT lately.

Choosing to be more positive 🙌 and actionable over the past year while working full-time in my business, hasn’t been easy, especially with all of the ups and downs I’ve experienced, BUT it’s been worth it!

You’re getting your vitamins in the morning and then you find an unexpected surprise! Meet Hazel everybody! She’s our baby and we love her.... but this scared the bejeezus out of me. Lol.

Surprises happen all the time. It’s how we deal with them that matters. If I screamed Hazel would have scratched the hell out of my face but instead and laughed, took a picture, and calmly brought her down.

Stress happens in our business and taking a deep breath and calmly figuring out how to overcome it is better than flying off the handle. Let’s help one another by sharing what we do to “just breathe”!
